Authentic Andalusian landscapes, white‑washed villages and quiet inland country lanes — story‑driven rides crafted for ease, safety and character, with experiences woven into the routes.
Cinematic Retro Rides is a boutique touring company based in Mijas (Málaga) that crafts cinematic, story‑driven retro motorcycle tours through inland Andalusia — from single‑day rides to multi‑day journeys. Each route is scouted for flow, scenery and character — winding hill roads, white‑washed villages and pauses with a sense of place — travelling on scenic inland country roads through cinematic landscapes, away from large towns and cities.
With small groups, the days run at a steady pace, with time for coffee stops and curated experiences that bring authentic local culture, food and heritage into the ride. Iconic, current‑generation Triumph Bonneville T100 motorcycles pair timeless lines with modern reliability, and a clear safety briefing sets a calm, confident tone. The aim is simple: refined, well‑paced touring with a cinematic feel — delivered with taste, authenticity and distinction.
Ride with 3–6 riders for a calm, safe and personal touring pace.
Hand-picked Andalusian routes with authentic stops woven into the journey.
Tours and guidance available entirely in English or Spanish for ease and clarity.
A fully guided, single-day experience for discerning riders: light breakfast and briefing; measured back-road riding with two hosted experiences—one mid-morning and one in the afternoon—plus coffee-and-conversation pauses, and an authentic Andalusian food lunch in a place with character. Every touchpoint—hosts, venues, timings—comes from our pre-vetted pool and is assigned to your date to align with the season and daylight, delivering a pre-curated version of the Script that feels intentional, unhurried and refined. Perfect for guests already staying on the Coast who wish to see the real inland in one precisely composed day.

Cinematic Retro Rides curates hand-picked, small-group Experiences that reveal what Andalusia is truly made of—family-run vineyards with guided tastings, characterful olive mills producing exceptional extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO), heritage walkabouts through white-village lanes. Expect encounters with master luthiers crafting classic Spanish guitars, insights into equestrian culture and historic bull-ranch traditions, sensory tastings of Iberian produce, breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the vast Andalusian landscapes from a hot-air ballon, visits to traditional artisan workshops, unhurried mouth-watering lunches and dinners in places full of character.
Along the way—and always escorted by your fully bilingual EN–SP guide with an eye for detail—you’ll weave in local festivals, market stops, flamenco moments, characterful coffee breaks and magnificent back scenic roads and viewpoints—thoughtful, authentic, tastefully paced.
Every touchpoint is vetted for authenticity, hosted by genuine people, and timed to the season, so every experience feels immersive, refined and unmistakably Andalusian.
Please note that most Experiences are generally run by families and small local companies. The season and local calendars can affect the options available for some Experiences. All tours are thoroughly studied, meticulously and personally hand-crafted, and planned months in advance; details are then reconfirmed with hosts closer to the tour dates.
At Cinematic Retro Rides, we believe Experiences land best as a tasteful surprise, so we prefer not to reveal full details in advance. But if you need specifics before your tour, please contact us a few weeks or days in advance and we will gladly share them.
Our two-days format for discerning guests: back-road riding across both days with 3–4 hosted experiences, coffee-and-conversation stops, Andalusian à la carte lunches, kilometres of riding through impressive landscapes and rolling fields, and one overnight at a hand-picked 4-star or equivalent countryside/boutique hotel with a proper, sit-down dinner that feels part of the experience. Perfect when one day isn’t quite enough and you want a composed, premium escape that still fits a weekend.

Motorcycles are current-generation Triumph Bonneville T100s — elegant, timeless and full of character — chosen for their balance, reliability and classic British twin lines, with each unit named after classic film icons. A natural fit for inland Andalusia, they set a calm, well-paced rhythm so the emphasis stays on the ride.
«Known as ‘Bonnie’, Triumph’s Bonneville links the 1956 Salt Flats record era to today’s T100 — classic British twin lines kept current.»
Riding is easier when the essentials are sorted. Props gathers what’s included as standard and the hireable extras if needed. Helmets meet ECE 22.06, intercom keeps the group in touch, and the smartphone mount holds your navigation.
Each ride tells its own story — a slow sequence of light, movement and atmosphere across Andalusia’s inland roads. The Showreel captures those cinematic moments: the curve of a hill road, the stillness of a village morning, the amber glow of evening stops. It’s not about speed or distance, but about rhythm, texture and memory.
«A visual script of authentic Andalusia — sunlight, dust and motion framed through the rider’s lens.»

Riding my elder brothers’ Vespino, Mobylette and Montesa 360cc at an early age, then owning my first motorbike at sixteen, marked the start of my life on two wheels. Since then, I’ve stayed close to bikes — from touring under the California sun to exploring Iceland’s wild backroads — most often solo, sometimes in small, private groups.
Travelling has always been in my DNA, perhaps inherited from my British mother and my father from northern Spain, who both travelled widely.
